Pender Highlanders Show Shine
Event Dates: July 9, 2011 - July 9, 2011
Location: Pender Island, British Columbia
The Pender Highlanders Pipeband is hosting the 5th annual Show & Shine. Cars, trucks, motorcycles, and memorabilia (we had a two man chain saw last year). This is a fund raiser for the pipeband, and we play hourly during the show. It runs from 11:30am to 3:00pm. There is a Beer Garden and smokie stand open. Next door is a Farmers Market. Admission to the Show is by donation, there are no prizes, this is strictly a social. Last year we had 50 cars, 20 motorcycles, and a great time!

Hot Nite In The City Show-n-Shine

One time per year, on the 1st Friday & Saturday of August, 13 city blocks in downtown Kamloops, BC are closed off to allow Street Rods, Customs, American Muscle, Sport-compact, British, European, Collector, Vintage, Bikes, Race Competition vehicles and Highway Tractors, to line the streets for the annual Hot Nite In The City Show-n-Shine!

Sat. Aug 6: Cumberland, BC Show and Shine on Dunsmuir Ave. Registration ($10) begins at 12 noon and ends at 2pm. Show and Shine between 2 and 5pm. Lots of prizes, draws, and give-aways. Bike games to follow til 8pm. Nightly entertainment at the Cumberland and Waverly Hotels.
Sun. Aug 7: Cumberland Poker Run beginning at Village Square, Dunsmuir Ave. Registration ($10) begins at 10am. Beautiful ride around the Comox Valley, complementary buffet and ski lift ride on Mt. Washington Ski Hill (bring a light jacket). Ride ends at Cumberland Hotel with lots of draws and prizes. Proceeds go to kids with cancer.

Galaxie Club of Canada Classic Exotic Car Show

This is the Galaxie Club of Canada's 10th anniversary special car show "open" to all vehicle makes and models. Ford-Chrysler-Chevy-European and more... come one and all. Gates open at 9am and the show wraps up @ 3pm. This show has previously been held at the A&W in Coquitlam the last few years and this year represents a new and bigger venue. Hope to see you there!

ALL makes and models welcome of vintage to rods and special interest. ENTRY FEE is $10.00 per car. Regestration starts at 8:AM Show-9AM till 4 PM. Free to public, Venues, food, beer gardens 50/50,silent aution ,swap meet and more. ALL proceeds from our show are directed towards the Shriners Activities ,Transportation fund helping childern with hospital care. Beautiful location next to a lake and Bow River. Vehicles are displayed on a grassed area. Close to accomidations for those from out of town. 2010 had over 300 entries and is becomming one of Calgarys largest summer time car shows.
